PISTOL SKILLS COURSE
The basic pistol course teaches you about guns, safety and includes live fire, while this course follows that basic pistol safety course. It covers presentation of the firearm and recovery back to the holster, administrative tactical and emergency reloads, safe unloading, correction of malfunctions/stoppages, static shooting positions, use of cover and appropriate verbal commands.
Live fire will include drills to support precision, accuracy, cadence, throttle control, and handgun corrective actions.
All done is a safe, relaxed, hands on course.
At the end of this course, you will feel confident with your firearm; carrying, deployment, recovery, engagement and working through any stoppages. This class teaches you how to carry your firearm and use it if needed. It is an abstract of law enforcement basic firearms training.
